The CBS D-2070 Pole Rotating Lever has been designed to adjust the rotational orientation of a vertical wooden pole located in the ground to the required angle of alignment (in either direction) by applying a manual force up to 200kg on the extended lever handle.
A robust steel linked chain is attached at one end to the Pole Rotating Lever head, while the other end of the chain is tightly wrapped around the pole and positioned in the upper slot (to prevent the chain falling out if becomes slack) of the retaining bracket at the most convenient link. The Pole Rotating Lever features double row crocodile teeth for maximum grip of the pole.
With the lever handle fully extended for maximum leverage a maximum force of 200kg can be manually applied to the lever to rotate the pole to the required position.
The D-2070 Pole Rotating Lever can also be used to rotate a horizontal pole, this is achieved by first withdrawing the retaining pin at the hook end of the hook lever, next select the best hook lever pivot hole position to suit the diameter of the pole, refit the pivot pin and secure it with the retaining R clip, position the Pole Rotating Lever such that the hook is low down on the far side of the pole and the crocodile teeth on the lever head are in contact with the circumference of the pole, the hook can be driven in to a particularly hard wooden surface, if necessary, by striking the plate at the hook end with a hammer, the extended lever can then be pulled towards the operator to rotate the pole a small distance, repeat this operation as required to move the pole to the intended position.
